Main responsibilities :

The responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Air Export freight sales quotations
• Air Export Freight operation, including coordinating, picking up, CERS, booking, issuing AWB, tracking, delivery, billing, closing.
• Prioritizing rate requests by urgency
• Follow up on quotes and track progress
• Other tasks and duties assigned from time to time by the Manager (example, distributing incoming requests)
• Interact and work with remote freight teams on a daily basis
• Stay abreast current and upcoming regulations
• Maintain excellent relations with clients and agent
• Assist in preparing customs clearance quotations / ocean quotations when needed
• Assist in preparing warehousing and project cargo quotations

Main Requirements :

For this position, we are looking for an individual who possesses:

• At least 3 years’ experience in the freight forwarding industry
• Excellent working knowledge of export and import air freight movements
• CIFFA certified is an asset
• Knowledge of Steamship line and NVOCC contracts and other online pricing tools – asset
• Proficiency with computers is a must; advanced knowledge of Excel
• Solid communication skills (French written and verbal are assets).
• Strong organization skills and is detailed oriented
• Must be a pro-active and solutions-focused team player
• Ability to prioritize time effectively
• Energetic, pro-active, and keen learner
• Proven teamwork skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
