Mantoria’s new warehousing and fulfillment centre in Vancouver is opening soon
We are thrilled to announce that we are expanding our operations to the West Coast of Canada. Our brand new warehouse and fulfillment center located in Surrey, BC will be operational this November, as the city’s port is reconfiguring its own container terminals. The city’s expansion project, scheduled for completion in 2022, will facilitate intermodal Asian imports to Canada. Mantoria’s Vancouver warehousing and distribution centre will be the company’s fifth warehouse location, with four already open in Ontario and Quebec. In addition, we have plans for two new warehouse locations in ON and QC in 2022.
Expansion projects are currently underway for the two British Columbia ports, Vancouver and Prince Rupert. The one in Vancouver, a $78.3 million initiative, aims to reconfigure the Centerm container terminal and increase the port’s capacity, potentially diverting 15% of US intermodal imports to Canada. The Centerm Expansion Project and the South Shore Access Project are expected to reach completion in 2022. With a new configuration, including a Centennial overpass, the Port of Vancouver will limit road and rail conflicts and allow to process greater volumes of sea shipments from Asia without delays.

We chose Vancouver as our next strategic location at the request of many of our existing clients, who asked us to support their growth with a Western Canada location. This new fulfillment center will allow us to manage inventory and fulfill ecommerce orders quicker to our customers’ Western Canadian clients’ doors. Our new warehouse is expected to open its dock doors in November 2021 as the expansion projects in the city are nearing completion. With the current Vancouver Port and rail congestion issues, our team of logistics experts will be ready to unload, transload, destuff, and reload your goods for quick delivery by truck to their final destination across Canada.

- 45 min from the Centerm Terminal at the Vancouver Port
- near the 99 and the 15 highways
- 15 min from the Canada-US border (Pacific Highway Port)
